Error upgrading to NT 8.0.11.0

    Error upgrading to NT 8.0.11.0

    I get the attached errors after upgrading to NT 8.0.11.0. It won't let me run the program at all, after the second error the program quits...

      I just upgraded to NT 8.0.11.0 and now have the same issues.

        First, try a reinstall of the platform (again):
        • Close all running applications.
        • Make sure NinjaTrader is closed from the Windows Task Manager:
        • Press CTRL + ALT + DEL on your keyboard > Start Task Manager...
        • Processes tab
        • Locate and highlight "NinjaTrader.exe" > Click "End Process"
        • Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features
        • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 8 and click Remove.
        • Navigate to the following folders and delete any "NinjaTrader 8" folders located here:
        • C:\Program Files (x86)\
        • or
        • C:\Program Files\

        Once these steps are completed, download and install NinjaTrader from the link below:

        NinjaTrader is a futures trading platform that delivers integrated multi-device trading. Discover our best platform to trade futures for active futures traders.


        If this does not resolve the issue, please follow Chelsea's instructions to write into the Platform Support Team so we may obtain more specific information and assist you individually.

          Don't know if it is unnecessary, I also deleted ninja trader keys in my registry and deleted the folder located in my documents
          (C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\NinjaTrader 8 ).

          now is working fine

            I did all these steps and still same errors. BTW, I am able to install the previous version (8.0.10.0) right over new or any other version and it works fine. So there is a bug in NT 8.0.11.0.

              How do I find the registry keys? Also, I don't want to delete my NT8 documents folder, it has all my settings and indicators etc.

                after you have uninstalled NT8 , do a scan with ccleaner or similar
                then fix only the ninjatrader keys
                it is suggested to do a backup of your registry when ccleaner ask it.

                you can change his name and restore later what you need.

                I have restored only those folders:

                \\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces
                \\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates
                \\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db

                I had also to manually import all my previous ninjascripts because they are located in this folder and I am not able to identify if this also the folder responsible of the bug

                \\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom
