    How to include(import/export) custom resource(file)?

For example, I want to add some custom sounds into exported archive.
As i know, I have to do it manually (put the files), but can you remind me in which folders?

or foldername doesnt matter, for example, is this acceptable?

    Package.zip ->

    Code:
    Info.xml
    Indicators //indicators inside
MySoundFolder // .wav sound files inside
    ?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

Yes this is possible, the instructions are just kind of hidden in the help guide. This is listed in the Templates section as the extracted resources actually do end up in the templates folder in a new folder of your choice.

After exporting the zip, you need to manually add the "templates" folder, and inside that folder would be your resource folder such as "sounds"

    The zip would have: templates\sounds

The end result would be Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\sounds

I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Hi Jesse,

Old thread here, but thought I'd point something out as I was looking for this for a while. I was expecting for 'templates' to show up under the bin/Custom folder...
Still seems odd to me, but for anyone stuck on this - note that the templates folder is NOT under bin/Custom (like everything else custom) but actually at the same level as the bin folder...

      Kind regards
      Frank

        Hello Adfra,

        Thanks for your note.

That is correct. The 'templates' folder is not located in the 'NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom' folder. As Jesse stated in his post, "The end result would be Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\..."

Let us know if we may assist further.
