FTSE MIB Futures and MINI FTSE

Hi,
please add in the default list of Ninjatrader the symbol of Italian FTSE MIB Futures and MINI FTSE MIB Futures by Italian exchange working correctly by Interactivebrokers and other brokers or datafeed like Esignal, CQG, , Contiunuum, etc.

This would be a feature and not something that needed to be fixed, however you could add these yourself as I should have mentioned in my previous message.

Please follow the instructions below to add an instrument in the Instrument Manager.

From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools> Instrument Manager

Press the 'New' button

*Enter in instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange (add Default exchange for equities in addition to the actual exchange)

Fill in any relevant information under the 'Misc' tab such as symbol mapping for your target connectivity provider

Press the 'OK' button

* If you wish to add an equity, this can be accomplished without following the steps above. Just open a chart (for example) and start typing in the symbol and a new instrument is automatically created.

The instrument is now added to the master instrument list.

Please follow the instructions below if you want to add this instrument to an instrument list.

Select the instrument list you wish to add the instrument to via the 'Instrument lists' drop down list in the upper left-hand corner

Select the exchange (Default recommend for equities) as this will route orders to your broker smart routing system

Select the appropriate expiration date if this is a futures instrument

Press the '<' button to add the instrument to the list

You are now complete and can press the 'OK' button.

ftse mib

The ftse Mib (italian MIB30 future) exists in 2 different multipliers , 1 and 5.

This creates problems with the NinjaTrader Interactive Brokers interface as the NinjaTrader interface is not capable of sending the correct multiplier .

Please fix this BUG

mib30 not working properly

Well you can see marketdata for the MIB30 or FTMIB or MINI futures of borsa italiana.

But chartrader is not working. No position i ever detected although the account position is not flat.

Every Interactive Brokers account has a paper trading account associated which you can use for testing..

Please check all this yourself - if you want to -- and fix relative bugs

I created a new instrument in IB, MINIMIB, set up the instrument parameters, followed the instructions below, connected to IB and executed a trade on the Mini MIB. The position was displayed in chart trader when I selected the appropriate account.

there is a bug to fix about ninja:
SFT-563

Could you add the ftmib and mini ftmib by default in NT?
when we install ninja we like already have in platform like all other futures.


We like to have the main Italian stock in NT

I have submitted a feature request to have those instruments added to ninjatrader by default, it is being tracked by SFT-2754. In the meantime you can add these manually.

The SFT you mention is a feature request and not a bug, and is also being tracked.

Hello bomberone3,

You will not be able to have both the mini and the big for either the dax or the MIB products, as you previously acknowledged here in Post 5 .
