Drawn lines appear in different locations in different time frames

You are showing pictures showing the charts where I am expecting the line but you are not providing information.

What is the close time and date and the close price of the last bar when 30 minute data is set?

What is the time and date and end y price of the anchor?

Please providing the exact time and dates and this may help you to understand why the line is relatively further or closer to the viewable data.

The time of the last bar is changing, this changes where there end anchor is relative to the time of the last bar showing on the chart.

There is no 30min data set in my sample.
5min chart 2 days - end date July 9th, time 6:40, price 2773.25
5min chart 30 days - end date July 9th, time 6:40, price 2773.25
Anchor end date July 9th, time 17:00, price 2761,29.


Honestly I don't see how this helps. You have fixed X,Y coordinates (as above time and price), but the points having fixed coordinates sometimes change their position in relation to each other. How that could be?

The end anchor is set to 17:00 at 2761,29. This is 11 hours after the last bar on the chart (6:40) and way way below the close of that bar (2773.25).

The end anchor didn't move. The last bar on the chart now has a time way way before end anchor and the close price of the current bar is way way way higher than the end anchor.

The price and time of last bar on the chart is what is different.

The end point x and y of the anchor has not changed.

Can you further detail what you are referring to as rest points?

But the bars (their time and price) ARE SAME. Why the location of the line changed?

Do you understand that all points of the same line are supposed to have same coordinates, right?
Then in my sample as you may see below it is not. And this is what causes this problem.
In below sample same point of the same line has different coordinates depending on a period of a chart (timeframe is same!)

You have drawn the line to the end time of daily bar which is at 17:00.

17:00 for the day bar close time and 6:40 for the 5 minute close time are not the same time.

This is not the same x value.

The line is clearly showing the same values.

The chart bar data is clearing showing different times for the close time of the bar.

We are talking about the same charts. So the time and price on all pictures are same. I have just converted Daily chart to 5 min chart (2 days) and then extended the period of the same 5min chart to 30 days. What different time and price are you talking about?
X value is SAME for all pictures, because price is same.

The last 2 charts are even of the same 5Min timeframe.. What is the difference between them?

This a 10 hour 20 minute different between bar close times between the daily bar and the minute bar.

Daily bar isn't 17:00. It's the same forming bar of 5Min chart. Do you understand that I just switch between same chart? And you can clearly see the last 5Min bar.

Please see attached the another sample. It doesn't involve any daily chart, no extension line going far-far-far away, just same 5Min chart but having different period.
You can see the trend line distortion very clearly: initially it's above the chart, after the period is reduced - appears below the chart

What trading hours template are you using?

What time is the day session ending?

I see you are using <use instrument settings>.

The default session close time for CME US Futures is 5:00 PM Central time.

However, your screenshot does not provide all of the requested information.

What time is they day session ending on your chart? (Meaning what time does the daily bar close on your chart?)

The DataBox.

Middle mouse click (meaning click the scroll-wheel on the mouse) over the data bar you want to view the time, open, low, and close of.

Or right-click the chart > select Show Data Box > the hover the mouse over the bar you want to view the time and ohlc of.
