Backtesting problem
For some reason I get zero results on certain time frames when backtesting a simple strategy on NT8. One, three and five minutes do show results but if I change the minute of value to 10, 15 or higher I get 0. The strategy is very simple- MA cross so there should be results. I am using NT Continiuum demo from CQG if that helps.Tags: None

Hello sashe71,
Thanks for your post.
Please check that you have sufficient historical data and/or are connected to your data feed when running the backtest. A way to check for sufficient historical data is to run the strategy SampleMACrossover which will constantly place orders. If this strategy places orders in the time frames then that would suggest you have the correct amount of historical data.
When you run your strategy and do not see results, please check the "Log" tab of the control center for any error messages related to your strategy as these may help in understand any run-time type errors.Paul H.NinjaTrader Customer Service
