Convert TRIX COLOR Indicator from NT7 to NT8

    Hello,

I have a TRIX Color indicator that I use for NT 7.I would like to have it become compatible with the NT8 platform. Where would I be able to upload and share this NT7 indicator so that perhaps someone in the community would be able to make the Trix indicator compatible with NT 8.

    thanks

    Hello denalek2419,

    Thanks for your post.

You can certainly upload to your thread. Hopefully, a member will be able to assist and convert for you to NT8.

Not knowing what you have in mind. But I think the attached NT8 indicator maybe it.

      Cheers!

It is a .cs file not a zip file, so it will not directly import. Here is what to do:

Copy the file mahTrixColor from your downloads then paste it in the folder: Documents/NinjaTrader8/bin/Custom/Indicators - Then in the editor open any indicator and compile it, and you have it.

            Cheers!

Got it! Thank you so much. You are a wizard. Exactly what I was looking for. Now I can comfortably migrate to NT8 from NT7.

              Cheers!!!
