How to extend Rectangle in drawing tools like Horizontal line.

I'd like to know the way to extend the Rectangle continuously like Hoirizontalline in a tick based chart.

Unfortunately this is not supported with the Rectangle drawing tool. I will forward the suggestion to support the option to extend Rectangles continuously to development.

Comparing to Horizontal Line implies no need for begin and end X axis anchors. If this is the case just use two Horizontal Lines and if you need shading just use Draw.Region().

You could also use the Region Highlight Y drawing tool. It will draw a continuous rectangle. Please let me know if this does not suit your needs.

Does the 'Region Highlight Y' tool not meet your needs? If not, could you go into further detail about what drawing tool you're looking for?

As a side note, if any changes or improvements are made, it will be done in NinjaTrader 8. NinjaTrader 7 is no longer being actively developed and will receive periodic critical maintenance updates only.

Ah - That makes sense. Do you know if anyone has created a NT7 indicator or tool that can achieve this?

I am unaware of an add-on with this feature for NinjaTrader 7, but I encourage others to post in this thread if they know of a comparable tool.

NinjaTrader 8 has a built in solution for this topic which is the region highlight tools. I am not sure what feature you're referring to. There is no feature request discussed in this topic. Do you have a tracking number?
