Extend Vertical line to chart panels...& Optional Fixed Scaling

What about extending the Vertical Line tool to all chart panels...
see screen shot...

And...do you really need the possibility of Fixed Scaling on every chart and every chart panel in Ninja...??....it is fairly easy to inadvertently trigger this (in a panel or chart)....see screen shot....a constant annoyance....and the thing does not really work in any case....who needs prices or values inadvertently running off the screen without warning...??....it seems to me that fixed scaling (assuming it is set up correctly eventually)....would be used on only rare occasions on a particular chart perhaps....why not enable in properties for those who may choose to use it....the current fixed scale everyplace in Ninja is just a constant annoyance....and with your new Trend Channel tool one often must use fixed scale to see end points of the parallel lines and one can easily leave fixed scale turned on...risking prices running off the screen without warning.....NT 6.5 chart vertical scaling was much better....

Also add .....show the time on a vertical line....

Would like to add the suggestion in this area that the time be shown (optional) at the bottom of the vertical line...this time would update live as one moved the line to the left or right....time would also be shown to the right of the last bar on chart....

I believe that what you are looking for already exists. Just change your cursor to the crosshairs.

....Show time and also allow an alert on vert line....

Am aware of the existing cross hairs time feature.....but would definitely like the time on the vertical line also....feel this would be very worthwhile.....and also...how about an alert option on the vertical line....alert when price reaches line when line is set to the right of last bar....examples ...reports, trade time targets & cycles etc....showing time on the line would enable placing vertical line exactly where you want it...

One more suggestion....

Kyle...one more refinement suggestion in this vertical line area...notice in the attached screen shot (of another program) ....how the vertical line is hidden when it cuts through a chart bar or histogram bar...this works better than the current NT vertical line in my view, where the vertical line can obscure things a bit....and incidentally...notice the time showing at the bottom of the vert line (optional)....

One last idea here...

Kyle...one last idea on this vertical line....what if under the Attach to: in properties you could also optionally attach to All charts (not just a specific instrument necessarily for global objects)...since the vert line is applied to time only this could work this way....say you were watching NQ, 6E and CL....the vertical line would appear on all 3 of those at the time of your choice....this way one could explore relationships between markets and have a record of common points in time to evaluate...explore if pivots perhaps jive between markets etc etc....it seems this could perhaps be useful...

One more small thing...

It could be good to have the time on the vertical line update live in the data box as you move the line... You do not want to have to continually stop the line to check the time you have reached as the line moves. Of course as mentioned...ideally you also want an option for the date and time to show at the bottom of the line as it moves...

Yes, there is a "center on price scale" option from the Tools-> Data Series menu.

This will ensure that your last traded price is within the scale regardless if you're using centered or fixed mode... here's a quick video.
