    Alerts getting lost

    problem

    I am finding that my alerts are getting lost on restarting. I realise that they should be saved on workspaces and have been sure to save the workspace.

    I am getting an error with unable to write cache data from time to time.

    Request.

    Would it be a good idea to save alerts in a template, at present there is no option?

    Hello fredfred123, and thank you for your question.

    As a test, so we can narrow down what is occurring, would it be possible for you to run in safe mode for a period of one hour, and let us know if this occurs for you at any point during that hour?

    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.

    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.



    To answer your template question, I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :

    This customer would like to have presets available for the main, condition, and action windows in the alerts dialog
    I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.

    Please let us know if there are any other ways we can help.
