Add new instrument

Hello. I'm traying to add the ES 01-18 instrument in NT8. For this I go to 'Tools / Instrument Lists', I select 'Futures', click 'add' and select 'ES Future E-mini S&P 500 Futures'.

As you can see in the file attached, the platform give me the next error 'No instruments selected, probably a futures with invalid rollover/expiries.

I have tried with another futures and always give me the same error. I have desinstalled and reinstalled the platform but it continue with the error. My version is 8.0.11.1 64-bit (Standard) and I have a lifetime license.

Can you help me, please?

Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.


To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

Hello. I followed the instructions that you sent me by email but it was continuing without work. At the end I have unistalled the NT7 too, deleted all the directories and reinstall the NT8. Now it appears the ES 01-18 instrument.
