Is there a way to know after I close my position how much money I made from it?

Thank you for your note.

Is this a strategy which is opening and closing the position or are you manually trading? If strategy, how are you looking to use this information, visually for yourself or programmatically?

You could always use the trade performance tool under Control Center>New>Trade Performance, and set your desired time frame as well as "Display" to Trades, which will show your profit from the last trade relatively easily. You can read more about trade performance here,

The value ProfitCurrency gives the profit in my account currency or in my trade currency. For example, If I traded EURGBP but my account is in us dollars, in which currency the value is given?

The Currency PL will be whatever the base pair is. So if you're trying EURGBP, the values displayed will be in pounds.

Hello kiss987,

Yes, you would take your profit in terms of foreign currency and convert it back to dollars using the FX rate.

For example, you have 1,000 Sterling in profit. You would take the current rate of GBP/USD, multiplied by 1000 to get your profit in dollars. For example using 1.34 GBP/USD, =1,340USD.

I wrote an indicator which when applied to say crude oil, will give you its price in foreign currency. You basically would be doing the opposite in your case, FX to USD rather than USD to FX.
