Ninja does not recognize TWS has been opened and started

    Ninja does not recognize TWS has been opened and started

    Whether or not I start TWS first and then open Ninja, or if I start Ninja first, Ninja will not recognize that TWS has started.

    I completely deleted the last Ninja build, installed the new 1000.2 build, and re-set upaInteractive BrokersConnection,setting it to auto-log on.

    Please note: I dont know ifI have the new IB connection set up correctly or not.For the"see main menu Support-->Connectivity Guides"from the Ninja download page: there is no Connectivity Guide (anymore).

    I have Ninja set to Auto Log on, but Ninja wont run the log-on - I am presented with an empty TWS log-on screen. It doesnt matter, because even if I log on manually, and TWS starts, NInja will not recognize it.

    And, when I start TWS before opening NInja, then start Ninja, in any attempt to connect to TWS, I am presented with a new TWS log on screen, even though I am already connected.

    I am on Build 857.6 from March 23. I have been out of town for a week. But I am able and have been able to open Ninja and TWS from my notebook computer, TWS build 856.5, Ninja build 5.1.1000.1

    Do I need to roll-back Ninja and/or TWS?

    And where is your Broker specific connectivity guide now? I cant find it to make sure my connection to IB is set up correctly.

    Please use TWS 856.XX or earlier. Within NT see Help-->Account Set Up Guides

      What is the expected date for the next Ninja release that will fix this issue and allow users to upgrade their TWS to IB's latest version?

              A new beta version is now available from our wesbsite that supports the latest TWS 858.XX version. You must upgrade to this version of TWS.

                NT worked fine with the older 856 version, but when I download the newest versions of NT and TWS, I cannot connect. NT does not recognize that IB is already open and opens a new connection, then still cannot connect.

                      Please check to make sure you have installed:

                      NT 5.2.0.1 (Help-->About)
                      TWS 858.4 or greater (Help-->About in TWS)

                      Make sure that TWS is configured as per the Account Set up Guide located here -

                        correct, I did that. no joy. I have downloaded the old versions and am able to connect for now. will try again tomorrow
