What are feasible ways to make an indicator out of this, without having to re-code it in ninja? One way I can think of is creating a pseudo-symbol and feeding it via NtDirect.dll by calling Bid() in external program whenever the value changes. Are there more "natural" ways? Can an indicator listen on a socket or TCP port?

real-time external value as indicator
Suppose I've got an external program returning something I want to use as a real-time indicator. Black-box if you want. Let it be sun or moon positions on the sky or the frequency of certain words in social media.
