    Multi broker fires multiple orders

    Hi

    I was wondering if someone could comment on a problem I have seen twice with multi broker NinjaTrader users. This is in 6.5 and 7.0.

    We have had 2 different clients run our strategy using a multi broker NinjaTrader and had more than one order fired on 1 signal. there is only one place to specify the account to fire the orders from when we activate the strategy. Both of the clients were in SIM (thank goodness) at the time but more than one order was fired. I do not have the trace to provide you as they did not send it to me. After they signed off and back on the problem seems to go away.

    Is there something we should be aware of with the multibroker version of NT when running in SIM?

    Hi Sammy, I'm not aware of any general issue...were those 2 orders sent to the same account? I feel this is likely caused by their 'on starting a realtime strategy' setting in NT - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...tegies_tab.htm

    If you already checked into this direction and the issue resurfaces, please get the log and trace files and forward them to my Attn to support - or ask the customer to directly send them in via Help > Mail to Support.

      Thank you for your response.

      There are not 2 orders being triggered to the same account.
      2 orders are sent to 2 separate sim accounts ( 1 for each account)
      The client has a IB account and a Zenfire account.
      The thing is that this individual is a long time NT user and is a bit surprised this is happening

      The next time it occurs I will ask him to send an email to support with the logs

        Sammy, thanks for the update. If/when this occurs again, please be sure to send us the logs. If you can reproduce the event, that'd be even better.
