Hi,,why you dont connect Ninja to mt4

find a way,,many trader use metatrader and they have problem..if yopu find a wau that we can conect to brokers metatrader server with ninjatrader.all your bussines changes

I want trade on Ninja trader..that can conect to Brokers metatrader server..like Intractive brokers TWS that we can use ninja on it.if you can find a way that we can trade on ninja using metatrader account,it will be wonderful!

many traders in europe and asia and middle east use metatrader,and there isnt any brokers here that gives Ninjatrader...

research about this

and many and huge traders in forex tarde with MT4...But they are very angry about MT4 (gap,,slipage,,OCO,outo SLTP set and ...)

Mt 4 is very very very weak platform on excute and....

If can do this.....I promise that 100.000 trader will join ninjatrader...

Thanks for the clarification, I'm not sure if an external frontend would be allowed to access / execute an MT4 based account, but I will add those thoughts into our tracking of suggestions so it can be considered.

First, I'am not the developer of MT4 API and I also didn't check if API is working.

But from http://www.mt4api.net/ there is following quote
MT4 API - designed to control Metaquotes MetaTrader 4 terminal from another applications with using DotNET.
NinjaTrader is a .NET application and if API is working it is possible to send orders to MetaTrader.
You need to develop bridge from NT to MT4 (example for a NT bridge is
Dukascopy Ninja Trader Bridge http://www.toolsfortrader.com/Products.html )
But this is not supported from NinjaTrader Team

dear klaus if you can find a way to connect metatarder ro ninjatrader..it will be great..this connection is very important to me and many people.I want trade on ninjatrader with connection to metatrader servers or api....

and ninjatrader admins must work on this and inform us

I mailed developer of API (see below).
To connect to MetaTrader you propably can use mt4api (Client or server api). But this will be a big project. And developer has to buy api with sources to ensure software support.

Best solution is NinjaTrader checks metatrader server api and decides to develop a standard Metatrader adapter to connect to any MT4 broker.

Sorry for late reply - on vocation at this moment.
1. No, you can use on multiple computers. You'll need redisributable license($900) if going to sell your product with API inside. We also have lic with sources for $1500.
2. If you mean samples they avaliable at www.mt4api.net
3. MT5 completly different platform and we going to make MT5 API as separate product, but not ready yet.

We also have MT4 Server API. Summary:
1. MT4 Client API that works via MT4 Terminal($450 retail license, $900 redistributable, $1500 with sources). No Logon function, login manually in MT4 terminal. You need to run separate MT4 terminal instance for each account you want process.
2. MT4 Server API that works directly with MT4 Servers by TCP($3000, $6000 with sources). No need to run MT4 Terminal. Allows to process several accounts at the same time. Faster order execution.
Available free trial for all products.

I tried that littlefishfx tool: my only concern is that it uses a file for communication. (And its a bit pricey.) Other than that it should work well for automated strategies.

There is a lot cheaper tool at http://conscioustrading.net/?page_id=1956 But this is for manual trading only (at least it seems to be working great for that).
