Unable to Activate Market Replay Systems - Bulk Replay

Hello,

I was able to successfully run numerous systems on some bulk downloaded replay data last night however now it does not appear to be functioning.

The problem is that when I connect to Market Replay, add a new system and enable it, the leftmost column (instrument) does not signify that it is ready or waiting for open conditions to close (green or yellow.)

Here is what I have done to troubleshoot.

1. Reset replay account
2. Reload replay data
3. Add another system to test
4. Use unique entry logic
5. Try a different market (reload data)
6. Check logs (everything looks fine)
7. Make sure that the replay was in fact running and correctly displaying data

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I seem to have locked myself out of being able to run any replay.

The real curious part is that under the exact same conditions yesterday, the system appears to have been working and could run on the replay data. I have run replay dozens of time without issue until now.

Any advice to single out the problem would be great.

Thank you for your post.

How many days to load are you using for the strategies and charts?

Have you tested using the SampleMACrossover strategy? Do you see the same behavior?

I have just attempted to run the SampleMACrossover strategy on the replay with the same results.

I have downloaded about 3 months of replay data and like I had mentioned earlier, it is correctly updating on the chart.

Are you getting any errors in the log tab of the Control Center?

No errors in the log.

The good news however is that it appears to be working once again. I prematurely assumed the SampleMACrossover was not going to work as the instrument column remained white.

After noticing that the crossover strategy was working, I attempted to run the other strats that I was initially trying to test and they were now working as well.

Two curious questions remain however; why is the instrument column white instead of green (or even yellow) and why under the exact same conditions would the systems now work?

A bit strange but glad it is working again nonetheless.

I'm not sure at this time. I would need to remote in and take a look at the setup to establish a more thorough diagnosis.

Was there anything different that you did the second time around versus the first?
