Hi,
Could you please be more specific/put in layman's terms- what exactly was happening with this error and how was order placement being affected? Also, a link to the original thread report on this issue would be appreciated.

Item #12396 in 8.012.0 was a 'fix' and a 'behavior change'.

Fix: Orders no longer remain 'stuck' in a 'cancel pending' state. If you have existing orders in this state then the offending account must be removed from the NinjaTrader database. If this does not resolve, a 'reset database' would be required.

Behavior change: We now have warning dialogs when an order modification is attempted that Ninja can't manage orders placed in Interactive Brokers while NinjaTrader was disconnected.

The Development Team is looking into this behavior at the moment to see if the behavior of external orders may be improved further.
