Time & Sales

Hello everyone,
I want to work closely with the Order Flow and therefore, I need data as detailed and real as possible.
I have made a comparison between the Time & Sales of NT8 and a platform called ATAS and I was amazed by the difference in presenting the data.
It seems that in NT8 orders are grouped and not in ATAS. I do not like this since it does not offer me a reality of the order flow.
Can anyone bring some light to this issue?

Thanks for your post.

I believe what you are seeing is just a difference between the two platforms and how they display the same information. Just looking at the main page of that platforms website, it says they are specifically trying to be different from NinjaTrader in the Time and Sales window.

Hello Josh,

Thanks you for your earlier replay.

My doubt is that if in NT8 the trades are received and displayed in some grouped way or they are received and displayed as they come from the CME, without any manipulation.
Will this affect me when I use a new Order flow + application? Will it be less effective than for example ATAS?

The Time and Sales window in NinjaTrader displays the data as it is received from the CME and your data provider. There is no manipulation on our end.

This is the first time I have ever heard of that trading platform, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness versus NinjaTrader. In my experience, the Order Flow+ tools in NinjaTrader are working great.
