    Historical Data Missing From Charts

    The historical data is missing from the charts this morning and the option to update it is grayed out. This is with AMP CQG

    Hello bce111,

    Please manually disconnect and reconnect your CQG connection.

    If you still experience the same, restart NinjaTrader.

        So I may look further into this, please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris S" in the subject line.

        In the message, please include the following:
        1.) A link to this forum thread.
        2.) Your log and trace files for today.

        You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

        The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

        You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

        The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

            It may be okay but that could be and seems to be an occasional thing. I think you should send in the info Ninja requested so they can help you should you experience the same again as it is unusual behavior. Also, does your log file show anything of interest?

              Having problems with this again today. If I change the chart it doesn't update the historical data but just starts tracking it from the time I change it. It deletes all the data for the first few minutes the market's been open today.

              The chart for CL in minute is attached. You can see there's no bars for the first 15 minutes of trading. It just registers the one trade at 102.56. I just reloaded all historical data and it didn't help.

                Please restart NinjaTrader then reconnect. If the issue remains, please contact us via email once again at Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris S" in the subject line.

                In the message, please include the following:
                1.) A link to this forum thread.

                    BTW why do I have to keep restarting NT. I just want to trade tomorrow morning and don't want to have to close NT down and open it once I have it open. Thanks. I sent the log file out to you. Thanks.

                      When I go into options and the Historical Data Manager and click on Reload All why won't it update all the data? It's not grayed out like it was the other day, but it doesn't update the data either.

                            Not seeing today's historical bars

                            I am in the March ES chart with 3 min bars, and I am not seeing any bars since the market open, except for the current bar.

                            Is there a problem with the historical data tonight?? When will this be fixed??

                              That's the same problem I've been having. Mine are 1 minute charts. But it's the same problem.
