Custom indicator not appearing in list of available indicators

Hi,


I'm sorry for the noob question but I find myself in a hurry to convert a dozen NT7 strategies and indicators over to NT8 format, and I've come into a snag where I have been able to make a custom indicator and it compiles fine, and it appears in the NinjaScript Editor window's NinjaScript explorer pane under the Indicators folder, but when I want to add it to a chart, I right click the chart, select Indicators, and the available indicator list does not include the custom one I've made.


Is there something obvious that I'm missing or does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for the post.

Based on the description, it sounds like the indicator is having an error in its OnStateChange override. Are you seeing any errors in the NinjaScript output window or the control centers Log tab?

Another possibility is that the indicators Name property has been set to something other than what was expected or that the platform still needs to be compiled, in case you had only saved.

My apologies, they were not yet appearing simply because there was still some unfinished code in the first script I was making that had referenced several of the indicators. It appears that now that all the code is complete and all the referenced indicators have been converted, everything is appearing as hoped.
