      Is there still a problem with the Continuous contracts?

      I noticed that I seem to incur the same problem from the other problem instruments.

      I tried to rename that data file with the continuous symbol as I did the 03-14, and it still seems to have the bad data.

      It's not too big of an issue for me at the moment, so just wondering if there might still be a problem with that?

        Hello,

        Continuous data would show the same gaps however that should be something you can overcome by renaming the files (to, for example: ES ##-##.Last.txt) and importing the data which is available at the thread mentioned above.

          Historical Data Server Problems Again?

          I am again unable to retrieve historical data from the Ninja servers for the GC 04-14 and CL 04-14 contracts. I have not checked data availability of other contracts

          I am using Continuum. I have disconnected and reconnected the data feed as well as restarted NT several times.

          Please advise.

            Unfortunately this only works temporarily. I tried it yesterday and it worked for a while. When I restarted Ninja next time the gaps reappeared.

            15 minutes ago I experienced a problem in switching charts and restarted Ninja again. Now I have gaps for half the markets for the last couple hours; ES, YM, NQ, GC, ZS, ZC, ZB, 6E, 6A and more.

            I tried to "Reset DB", "Repair DB" and "Reset Instruments" which didn't work. And the "Reload All Historical Data" option within the charts is blanked out as well.

              Still Problems?

              When I loaded my charts today, it appears I have missing data on ES 3-14 again this morning.

              I can also see gaps in 6A and 6E. Haven't checked more charts yet. I've attached a picture for ES. This is today's data that's missing, not the gap from the weekend.

              I've restarted the connection and ninja. No luck.

                  We are getting reports of missing data from the servers currently and our servers team is looking into it seeing about switching to a backup server. I will update you once more information is available.

                    There was an issue identified around 9:40 AM Eastern.

                    We've since switched to a backup data server which was not affected.

                    Please restart NinjaTrader and reconnect to your CQG/Continuum account which will re-direct you to this new server. It is critical you restart to ensure you are re-connected to the new server.

                            Thanks for your reply.

                            Our servers team is working with CQG and looking into preventing this however if it important to be able to access historical data at all times you may want to consider a backup data feed.

                              Minute data for TF loaded, but seconds data has gaps in it from earlier this morning. :-(
