Superdom Instrument field not responding for minutes

    Hello All,

I am having a strange issue. I am running a fairly static workspace, it has been basically unchanged for about 6 months. For the last week or so I am having problem with the following

1 - Changing the instrument in the superdom.

I only trade 2 instruments and have 3 total loaded, When I select a different instrument it can take anywhere from 90 seconds to 5 or 6 minutes to change.
The charts are all updating fine during this time and response seems good.

I am not seeing any resource strains, internet speed is good at 150mbs. I have worked around it by just opening additional doms, but I would like to know what is happening.

If I open a black workspace with just a superdom the problem is not there. I seems related to how many charts I have open. I currently keep about 8 charts open for my two instruments.

    Any suggestions.

What version of NinjaTrader 7 are you using? This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

If I understand correctly, the issue does not persist in a different/new workspace? If this is the case, then the workspace file itself may be corrupt.

I would suggest rebuilding your workspace, adding 1 indicator at a time. Please keep track of what you add back in so that we can narrow down what is causing the issue if the issue returns.

I am using 1000..37 as my version. I have rebuilt the workspace chart by chart. When I do this the problem was not present until the next morning then I had the same issue.
Currently I have two workspaces open one is my normal one (rebuilt) with about 8 charts and that is seeing the problem
I have another open concurrently with 3 charts using the same indicators and templates and it is fine. It is definitely related to the number of charts open and/or how busy the market is. Yet my computer resources seem fine, internet speed is >150mbs and the charts are updating fine.
This problem appeared about a week ago nothing as far as indicators or setup has changed

Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader (this will not remove your custom files or settings):
        • Close all running applications.
        • Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
        • Navigate to C:\ > Program File (x86) > Delete the 'NinjaTrader 7' folder if it exists
        • Reboot your machine.
        • Once these steps are completed, download and install NT7 from the link below.

Does the issue persist after this reinstall?

I will try this later today and update this thread with results. I did just upgrade to .37 last friday but I did not do an explicit remove of the folder prior to the upgrade. I will give it a try.
          Appreciate the help.
