Format Data Series Bars Back Problem

I am trying to use Tick Charts for ES and want to set the bars back for the tick charts to 200 bars. However, after I change my charts Bars back setting to 200 bars in the format data series window, once I save the workspace exit Ninjatrader and then restart ninjatrader, the bars back value of 200 does not get saved in the workspace and my tick charts get loaded with at least 1 days data. When I now check the Format Data Series window for the chart, the option changes to Days back wuthg a value of 1 day.
I am using Zenfire as my data source and currently using Ninjatrader 6.5.1000.5

Is there a way to enforce the 200 bars limit for my tick charts and only load 200 bars when I reopen my workspace?

Your findings are accurate. This is a limitation. Only the start (and end) date of a chart is maintained but not the "barsBack" setting.

Is this going to be considered as Bug and fixed or will it be considered Functionality As Designed. Are there plans to have this fixed in V7 release?

It would be great if the chartbar limit can be enforced. It would be a quickfix to most of the performance/memory problems that we are facing right now.

It works as designed. There is no ETA yet to change it.
