We do in fact plan to convert each TASC article from the past. However, due to bandwidth this process is not occurring as quickly as most users and our selves would like. We will post the conversions completed and tested to the File Sharing section of the Support Forum, in fact you can find several posted at this time.

Yes, I am aware that several have been randomly converted in the past, but nothing in recent months. A couple of questions please:

What do you mean by "due to bandwidth"? Is NT8 different from NT7 in "bandwidth"? Do you mean "resources"?

Also, there are probably about 5 years (60) worth of TASC contributions from NinjaTrader. Do you have a priority as to which ones get converted first? Obviously not all of them are of interest to all. But maybe you want to give priority to those that have been requested several times first, such as the H&S indicators in May 2013 TASC, etc . The rest could be converted at a lower priority based on member requests and "bandwidth".

Hopefully, you are talking short term so that we can transition to NT8.

Yes, I am happy to add my vote again. It has been asked several times in the past in multiple threads, and yes there are some votes already there for converting the May 2013 TASC Head and Shoulder indicator. Here is one of your own responses in one of the threads.

I have attempted to incorporate the indicator mahCCI14RangeBarsNT8.cs into NT8 which you provided to Flash on 2-15-17 without success. I realize .cs is not a file and have attempted various zip file configurations. Each time NT8 returns an error message that its from an older version of NT and incompatible with NT8. I would be extremely grateful if you could provide me with a file (zip file) which would work. Thank you very much in advance. Steveg0123

Thank you for the post.

I just wanted to provide a quick reply on this, in the situation where you have only a .cs file you would not need to create a .zip for this and can instead manually import the file.

To do this, you can use the following steps:

Click New -> NinjaScript editor and open the editor.
Open the folder: Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom
Drag the .cs file into the correct folder, for an indicator it would go in the Indicators folder or Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators.
You should hear the NinjaScript editor compile, please also look at the editor to make sure no errors were displayed.

At this point the item should be imported, if you have any trouble just do the reverse and remove the file from where you copied it and allow NinjaTrader to compile.
