    Taking the Average of Two Indicators

    In panel 3 of my bar chart I have two indicators as follows:

    MAX at a period of 3
    MIN at a period of 3

    To make this indicator pair useful I need the average between the two. How does one go about taking the average of the MIN and MAX indicators.

    AVG = (MIN + MAX)/2

    Hello sdruley,

    Thanks for your post.

    This would require custom Ninjascript programming to create an indicator that performs as you need. Basically, you would create an indicator that has a plot that you would assign the coded equivalent of AVG = (MIN + MAX)/2

    If you are interested in creating this yourself and are unfamiliar with Ninjascript, we can provide you with reference links to get you started.

    Alternatively, if you would like it created for you, we can provide references to 3rd party coders who would be able to accomplish this.
