McClellan Oscillator

Attached is my screen shot of the McClellanOscillator on a 1 minute ^ADD chart.

Please note that for the majority of today it has been below zero which appears in red.



If you're is appearing different, please provide a screen shot so we can assist with any issues you might be having.

Can you tell me the following:

- What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About, this will look like 7.0.1000.x

- Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

- Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center? If errors are found, please report.

My version is 7.0.1000.10
Connected to TD Ameritrade with ADD subscription
Error message: "Failed to call method 'Initialize' for 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min"

Cannot get Indicator to work

I have the following errors appear. I am using the latest version of Ninja. Downloaded the indicator and in the log file this is what appears.

Unable to subscribe to ^ADD as there is no mapping instrument available

Thank you for your note.

Not all data providers support Index Data or the ^ADD Instrument.

Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...rical_data.htm

Can you tell me the following:

I am using version 22, I am connected to Yahoo and Kinetic end of day. I am trying to get it to work for the daily and monthly charts using end of day data.

Hello,

Disconnect from Yahoo and only connect to Kinetick End of Day.

The Kinetick End Of Day (Free) connection will only provide you with daily interval charts.

Try opening an ^ADD daily chart without any indicators or templates.

Hi.... am getting the same issue as the rest .... i.e i see only red on the indicator.
Version: 7.0.1000.27 (live)
Connected to: Vision Financial Market.
Applying indicator to CL 09-15 contracts.
Screenshot below.

Thank you for your post.

Vision would not supply index data for the ^ADD index. You would need to connect to a data feed provider that supports index data and the ^ADD.
