Hi- You were nice enough to download the ver 7 file. Any chance you can do the same for the ninja 8 platform. Changing the color in Sierra charts is easy, but C# is beyond me, and I just started with Ninja and not ready to tackle that just yet.

      If you can help, thanks

        Hello TradingGuy,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

For a trend colored HMA for NT8 you can download the NT8 MACrossbuilder in the downloads section of the forum which provides the option to color any selected moving average according to the moving average trend direction. While the indicator provides upto two moving averages, you can always set one of them to transparent if you only want to see one. The indicator offers DEMA, EMA, HMA, LinReg, SMA, TEMA, TMA, VWMA, WMA and ZLEMA as moving average choices. You also may want to review other indicators in the download section. Here is a link to the download section: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...ks.php?catid=7

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.

To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

        To Import

Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.

From the Control Center window select the menu (for NT8) Tools>import>Ninjascript add-on..

        Select the downloaded .zip file

NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

If you have further questions regarding NT8, please post them in the NT8 forums, thank-you!
