    Question on Fixed Scaling...

Say you have fixed scaling enabled on a chart....would it be possible to write an indicator to automatically kill fixed scaling when price may extend above or below the chart window...??

Or what about the possibility of a graphic object or indicator that would auto scale even when in Fixed Scale mode...?? Or perhaps an alert when prices run off the chart ??

Often one can have fixed scaling enabled on purpose or accidentally and prices can easily run off the chart when perhaps you were not immediately aware fixed scaling was enabeled...

    Thanks....

    Hello Alfred,
Yes, it is possible to write an NinjaScript code and set the scaling using the unsupported ChartControl class. This is however beyond what we could support. You may however refer to this post as a starting point http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...24&postcount=7

        Fixed Scaling Fixes....

Additional "fixed scale" suggestions....the fixed scale "F" box in the upper right corner....could there also be an "F" box in the lower right ?? .....easier to turn the fixed scale off that way.....and also a hot key to turn off...??

Also a user option (for individual chart windows) to select that when price trades off screen above or below the chart window that "fixed scaling" would automatically be disabled. And also a user option to select a sound alert with flashing yellow "F" boxes when price trades off the screen and the suggested auto disable option has not as yet been selected by the user.

        Thanks much....
