Drawing Object Copied to Multiple Charts

Hello is there a way for a drawing object .i.e to be automatically copied to selected charts of the same instrument but not ALL the charts.

Can I draw a rectangle on a CL chart and have it copied to all the tick charts but not the time charts. Or to all CL charts with a particular indicator?

I draw a fair amount on my charts but do not want my drawing on my higher timeframe charts so trying to find a way of saving some time

    Thanks

    Hello markbb10,

Unfortunately this is not supported. If you double click the drawing object, it will open its properties menu. You can then configure it to all charts of the same instrument. It is possible to select only a few charts of the same instrument where the drawing object will be plotted. I will forward the suggestion to support such functionality to development to put it on the list of possible future enhancements.

      Hi Jason,

Thanks for the quick reply. I am confused by your statements. The first says this is not supported (which I believed to be true). In the next sentence you mention " It is possible to select only a few charts of the same instrument where the drawing object will be plotted." - Is this possible, if so how.

      Thanks for the clarification

Sorry I typed too quick. It is missing "not". It should be:

It is not possible to select only a few charts of the same instrument where the drawing object will be plotted.

The suggestion has been added to the list and is assigned to SFT-2293.

              Hello

As mentioned by @jdzoska , it 's a very basic/standard functionality in the majority of other plateforms , so could you please activate development of SFT-2293 (Aug 2007 !)

              Thank you

                Hello fouadbenamar,

                Thank you for your post.

Within the chart(s) you do not want the drawing objects displayed right click in the chart window->Data Series->Disable "Show global draw objects" then click Ok.

Let me know if I may be of further assistance.
