    Ninja Trader Won't Load

    NT was up and running fine. I have a strategy that I needed to alter. I wanted to add a user input via a property statement. Since there was a default property statement (myInput0), I copied this in the same section and renamed the variable to 'Interrupt'.
    I attempted to compile. NT then shut down just as if I had closed it at the Control Center. I clicked on the desktop icon to restart. It did restart. It did not reload my workspace so I did File>Workspace>Open and selected the workspace. A window popped up asking to send an error report. I said 'No'. The app closed agin. I restarted, then answered 'Yes'. It appeared to be reporting something then shut down again. I restarted and did not attempt to load my workspace. Compiled my strategy. Then opened a new chart. I tried to add the strategy to the chart and the app closed again.
    Do I have to reload NT? What about my current workspace that I do not want to lose?

    Hello dukeb,
    To assist you further can you send the log files, trace files and the workspace so that I may look into what occurred.
    • You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.
    • Please make sure the option "Log and trace files" and Workspace files and UI settings" are checked.

          It looks as though I have blown out the workspace. It appears unrecoverable.

          Additionally, when I start a new workspace and click to add strategy, the strategy is greyed out.

          I then copied the code from my strategy, deleted the strategy, then created a new strategy with the same name and compiled it.
          Still the strategy is greyed out.
          Am I doing something wrong?

            Duke,

            Do you have chart trader on that chart?

            Are you currently connected to your data provider?

            Can you enable the strategy from the Strategies tab of the Control Center?
