    Maybe this will give someone ideas on how to overlay multiple charts in NT.

    I'm not sure how this is done but it looks kewl and allows the user to put multiple charts into one window.

        Hi Laredo,

        You can right click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
        From the menu you can select cascade, stacked or side by side.

        Let me know if I can be of further assistance

              Thanks for the forum post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

              NinjaTrader is actually designed with this ability in that each chart is a free floating window. I would suggest that you create 6 charts, each with there own window and then position them in the 2x3 rows that you like. Each window simply needs to be resized to fit your needs. This only needs to be done once as once this is completed and you have all the charts positioned where you like then you will want to save the workspace so that you dont have to set it up again.

              FIle->Worksapces->Save workspace.

              Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

              This is a dreadfully messy solution, never looks perfect, charts can be easily and accidentally dragged out of alignment, if your monitor size or resolution changes depending on which system or external monitor setup you use, it all has to be done again. It's poor.

              Please don't even think twice about this issue when rolling out the next updates... it's a total no-brainer!!!

              Thanks.

                If you've already saved your workspace and you make an undesired change, close either the workspace or the whole platform and choose 'No' when prompted to save. This will ensure that the changes you've made are not saved. Upon reopening the workspace, you should have everything where it was previously saved.

                What would you prefer NinjaTrader's windows to do instead of the current behavior?

                  Tiling, cascading, snapping, grid formations etc. Multi-monitor support of these features.... obvious stuff. It's already been mentioned before - controlling the windows essentially, just like tradingview and also eSignal can do very elegantly.

                  Thanks.

                    Thanks for the feedback. We are still tracking interest in this feature, however, I have no other update at this time. I'll add your vote.

                    Keep in mind that any changes would likely be made to NinjaTrader 8 only as NinjaTrader 7 is no longer in active development.

                    EDIT: the tracking number for this existing feature request has been updated to SFT-2440
