no sound at all in ninja 7

I am running the ninja 7 under free licence in demo mode.

My problem is no sound at all in ninja 7, for example no connection sound, no connection

lost sound, no sound when I placing orders etc...

Does anyone to help?

I moved your post to its own new thread as your question is unrelated to the older post you had commented on.

What version of NinjaTrader 7 are you using? This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

Are any sounds on your PC working? Try playing a video or a song.

Are your PC speakers on and unmuted?

Please check that sounds are enabled within NinjaTrader in the Control Center > Tools > Options > General > All sounds on the left side that you would like to hear should be checkmarked.

Do you see sound files if you navigate on your PC to C > Program Files (x86) > NinjaTrader 7 > 'sounds' folder?

I am using 7.0.1000.37 version.

Yes, my PC has sound, can hear when I playing videos or songs and at work also can hearing system sounds.

Yes, my speakers are on and unmuted.

Within NinjaTrader in the Control Center > Tools > Options > General > All sounds on the left side are checkmarked.

Yes, I can see 18 sound files at C > Program Files (x86) > NinjaTrader 7 > 'sounds' folder.

I attached a screenshot of my volume mixer but it no contains ninja 7's volume adjustability.

It seems like for me, my PC 's sound card doesn't recognize ninja 7.

I took an update for my sound card driver trough device manager, but no success.

Do you have any idea?

Hello nyilas,

Some times you need to generate noise for an application to appear in the volume mixer.

Open a modal window (windows that keep focus) such as the indicators window and then click on the control center a few times (which generates a ding noise to alert a modal window is open).

It also looks as if you may have a custom audio manager installed.

Try shutting this down temporarily. (We've seen in the past that custom audio mangers can sometimes not play files if the files are under a certain size)

If you still don't see NinjaTrader appear in the mixer or shutting down the custom audio manager doesn't help please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that we may schedule a call.

I've GOT the FIX!

yesterday I spent all of my half day to find the fix my sound issues.

I found this link in a Microsoft forum

I download and installed the eartrumpet file what took itself to my PC's system tray beside

the date and clock and see miracles..., the ninja's logo appeared in my volume mixer and

from that time my ninjatrader7 has sound

The logo not appear always, just right after when generated a sound sign, but ninja7 has sound all the time
