Trading with Market Analyzer

I have been a TradeStation Programmer for a long time. I'm new to NT. I have 2 questions:

1) In TS, with Order Objects in indicators, you can enter, exit and manage trades using RadarScreen, Market Analyzer seems to be the equivalent to RS. Is it possible to trade through Market Analyzer? If so, what is the best way to do this.

2) I want to write code that monitors many equity symbols (maybe 50 or more) and places orders for some of these symbols if they hit certain predefined levels. I want to be able to have a user defined Max number of trades for the day. In TS I can do this in a single indicator using Quote Provider objects, Order objects and Position Objects. Is there a way to do something like this in NT?

Thank you for writing in.

As the market analyzer is, this would not be possible however you could build your own Addon to resemble the Market Analyzer window and have Buy/Sell buttons.

Regarding setting a max number of trades for the day, you could use the following reference example which demonstrates how to count the number of trades made as well as use logic to filter taking additional trades if certain conditions are met.

I’ve casually been building a quote board with buy/sell buttons in my free time, it still needs additional work but I’ve made a note to myself to follow up to this post when it’s complete.

just can you tell us your thoughts, if it will be able with NinjaTrader to trade (apply strategies) to MarketAnalyzer ever in near future? Why ninjatrader doesnt allow that? or the ways to achieve that with our capabilities.
