What is the correct Dispatcher to update Plot objects

I want to update my Plot objects periodically from a background Task.
I am trying to use the ChartControl.Dispatcher from that background Task but that doesn't seem to have any effect on the chart.

ChartControl.Dispatcher.InvokeAsync((Action)(() => {
                         
    PlotTop[CurrentBar] = 10.0;


}));

What is the correct Dispatcher to use?

Have you tried doing a chart refresh after you update the plot values?

Have you tried..

Whenever you update UI elements from a thread other than the main thread, you need to use:

this.Dispatcher.Invoke(() =>
{
// your code here
});

If you need needed to return an object back from the other thread, use myControlDispatcher.Invoke<object>(() => myControl.DataContext),
where DataContext is the object being returned.
