How to retart migration from NT 7 to NT 8

I installed NT8 "awhile" ago to have a look, not transition from NT 7 at the time.

I want to start moving myself to NT8 soon.

How do I re initiate file transfer from NT7 to NT8? I can't seem to find where to re initiate the migration. When I was having a look previously, I didn't start migration. I'm principally concerned on migrating my historical chart data files.

Close NT8/7.

Find Config.xml in your my documents/Ninjatrader 8 folder, make a copy of Config.xml if you wish, open in notepad, remove the line about migrating ... "<Migrated> ... </Migrated>", Save, Start NT8.

Thanks for posting.

As sledge mentioned, this is controlled by the Config.xml file. If you would prefer not to edit the file itself, you could simply rename the file so NinjaTrader recreates it upon restarting.
