doesn't look like anyone converted the "whole" indicator with the signal dots though.

Hi Hooya, true I think the provided code implements the stop logic - if you need the code custom modified, try contacting one of those NinjaScript consultants - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...injaScript.htm

          heiken ashi smoothed

heiken ashi smoothed doesn't re-paint on each bar... I'm using them on tick intervals... am I missing a configuration parameter?

btw... what a POWERFUL concept smoothing heiken ashi for intra-day trading... kudos E.Wave

          To the poster below:

I don't trade futures, but generally the market shouldn't matter.

To each his own, but a few indicators I personally like:

          -This one.
          -SuperTrend
          -FibLines
          -QQE
          -ASCTrend
          -StepMA7.1
-KasePeakOscillator and Permission Function (real versions, not the clones)
          -The JurikUT package.

                Hello Everyone,

I was woundering if there is a way to make the Heiken Ashi candels in a seperate window in the bottom with the chart and have the tick candels on the top window?

I was using the diferent setting and number 3 adds both candles on the chart and thats ok but I would like to see at the bottom.

Another way is to just make a number 1 chart and lay it on top and aligned them both.

                Thanks,

                Chon Wayne

                  Hi Chon,

                  Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately charting multiple instruments, or the same instrument twice on a chart is not currently supported in NinjaTrader 6.5. This will be supported in NinjaTrader 7. Beta release is scheduled by the end of this quarter.

                    eASCtrend vs. Heiken Ashi

It appears the NT eASCtrend is a variation of Heiken Ashi, true?

QQE has proven to be an asset for me, too. I'm curious if anyone changes the displacement for triggering entries?

                      Hello,

I like heikin ashi smoothed a lot. It gives a clear picture of the trend. I use it on 5min EUR/USD with moving averages. But instead heikin ashi smoothed I use heikin ashi alert lines:

EMA 200 close to see the main trend
cross of EMA 55 close and EMA 21 close to confirm trend
Heikin Ashi smoothed Alert Lines, settings 3,5,3,2

Now on my chart I can see the main trend if the 55 is above the 200, the 21 is above the 55. And now I only take buy orders with HA alert lines.

For sell: 55 must be below the 200, 21 below the 55 and HA alert lines give signal for sell.

Stochastic 14,3,7 can help, but it not important.

Try to attach the mq4 file for the HA alert lines, but it is not working. Can you help?

Please have a look and let us know how you like it.

                      Holger

I just looked at your program. I like it.
Do you have time to answer a few questions about it?
Is there a more recent version out there?

If it has the 3 candle drawing options, its the most recent version.

                            That was quick.

                            It looks like this.

I think I may understand it a little better after spending
some time with it. Using your default settings:

                              SMA 1
                              SMMA 2

This seems to be all the moving average the candles can take,
without having the price walk away from them in a strong up or
                              down trend.

                              SMA 1
                              SMMA 3

                              Also works.

'Amp' doesn't do much that I can notice.

Yes, it has 3 drawing options. I just saw that. I thought
you might be refering to a neutral candle color (which I've
never seen implemented). By that I mean, if a body is within
the previous body there would be a neutral-colored candle.
This would indicate a pause in the current trend.

Amp only works when using the T3 average. I might have a version with a phase parameter as well, but that only works with the JMA.

I find the default settings work well, but there is a lot of room for experimenting.
