Question on multiple strategies

Hi,

I have a strategy that uses multiple instruments. If face a problem while adding new instruments that may not have any data and cause the whole strategy to exit.

Is there a way to precheck the instrument for data in Ninjascript?

What makes you say your strategy is exiting from lack of data?

Does this happen when you are running a backtest on the strategy or does this occur on live data?

There is no NinjaScript method that I am aware of that checks for historical data availability. If you are connected to a data feed that supports the instrument being tested it should automatically load the data it needs.
