Historical Data won't load

    Historical Data won't load

    I'm trying to load historical data to run a backtest. After selecting the instrument (ES), date range etc. on the historical data window and clicking 'Download', nothing happens. I'm connected to Kinetick End of Day free version which has allowed me to load market replay data with no issues. Please help!

    Hello kj5159,

    Thank you for your post.

    What interval do you have selected when you attempt to download data? For your connection, Day should be selected as Minute data would not be available from the Kinetick End of Day free connection.

      That would be minute data I'm trying to download. That clears it up, thank you.

        Good morning, I'm trying to download the data to work in the market replay, but I get this error, what should I do?

              In your image I see that you have selected ES 07-18 which is expired. Please use ES 09-18 to resolve.

                  Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.


                  To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
