    Market Analyser

    I am setting up the Market Analyser with a 50,100,200 SMA on a 15 Minute chart and the market analyser isn't showing the same price as the chart? on the chart it's 187.83 and MA is 192.46??

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Please ensure that the SMA on your chart has its CalculateOnBarClose set to False so that it is in sync with the Market Analyzer.

    Can you replicate this behavior with the SMA provided in NinjaTrader by default instead of using this SMAAlert indicator?

      I have the indicator set to CalculateOnBarClose false on both and now that I have live data they are all close to last price or the same as
      I have put the SMA that is part of NT and I get the same problem but different numbers
      50 sma on chart 40.54 on MA 38.90 last price 38.68
      I have everything set the same in both MA and SMA except in MA there is an option for
      price type close and don't have that in the indicator

        Just tried all the other settings in price type no change to the SMA
        Don't know if it matters but I am using Interactivebrokers data

          Hello geotabs,

          I am not able to replicate this issue on my end with NinjaTraders preinstalled SMA.

          Are you able to provide the indicator so that I may test on my end?

          Additionally can you send a copy of your log and trace files to check for any reported errors?

          You do this by writing into [email protected], writing ATT: ARCI in the subject line, and referencing this forum thread.

          To manually attach your log and trace files:

          Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
          Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
          Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.

          Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
