NT Renko bars and heiken ashi

    Hello,

I am using NT Renko bars 5, I know that when 5 ticks are done, in the next tick a new bar is formed, but I am confused with Heiken Ashi bars as I combine NT Renko bars and heiken ashi. When a doji is formed, sometimes is an 8 ticks, others 9 ticks, etc

Could you explain me the formation of NT Renko bars and Heiken ashi? I attach an example

    Thanks

    Sincerely

Thanks for the post dvercher, the resulting values for the Heikin Ashi bars are found by averaging with the prior bars values to achieve the desired smoothing effects. As such it's not as clear as to when a new bar should be expected, as it would be the case with the base Renko bars. You can directly review the NT7 indicator source code as well in your NinjaScript editor to see how the values are arrived at.
