Hello tmfdouglas,
NinjaTrader_JessicaP was able to supply a BarsRequest series to a Dictionary<string, Bars> object and supply this to an indicator and get a value.
Please take a look at the example she has posted and let me know if you would like any assistance getting this working in your script.

Hi tmfdouglas,
I checked with our development and they have let me know that the example script created by NinjaTrader_Jessica will not work currently, but did work in a previous version of NinjaTrader.
It is not possible at this time to supply a Bars object to an indicator.
Would you like to submit a feature request for this?Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

It's fine thanks. To be honest, I gave up on feature requests ever being implemented a long time ago.

sadly, after a long-time requests by me (for simplest and essential things) i am also to agree you.
very pitty. NinjaTrader feature-request system leans toward to become like TradeStation (the etalon of ignorance of developer requests).
