NT7 needed improvements
The most annoying thing with current NT for patsystem users is that at the end of the day NT dies.
Broker has a daily reset and everything goes south, you can't even reconnect as you need to RESTART the whole NT.
You need to be home or you will lose data needed for your strategies, and as i found out and you confirmed YOU CAN'T use a different data feed while connected to your broker, data will not be stored in the DB. And you can't use a backup data feed either to fill the gaps in you broker data feed when you restart.
So for nt7 to be at least usable the following thing NEED to be addressed (and in current changelog are not):
1) Auto disconnection and reconnection at given time in options
2) No restart of NT needed with pats (Tradebullet has been doing Both 1) and 2) for years, it's not a pats dll problem, it's yours)
3) Add capability to have a data feed and a broker feed at the same time and choose which one save to db (plus the option to set the minutes of delay for delayed data feeds, that are cheaper and can be a good backup, not to destroy DB timeline with duplicate data).
4) Add the capability to connect to a secondary data feed on restart to fill gaps in your db (pats DOES NOT have historical data feed, only real time!! How can we run strategies if we don't have the data?)
Has any of this already requested things been done yet?
Does my lifetime license was the right choice?
