I was unable to locate the McClellan Oscillator on the forum.

While we don't usually create indicators on request, as part of my training I would be happy to create this one and post it on the forum for download once it's completed.

I would like to see this done if you can do so (in NT 6.5, since 7 hasn't been publicly released yet). It would require 2 data streams (3 if you wanted a comparative index above the indicator). Would be interested in seeing how its constructed.

Awesome. Now why doesn't it come up in a search for McClellan in the forum? For install, do I just put this in the Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom folder?

You can just download and then import the zip file, so NT will put it in the correct folder and compile it.

You would need to seach for NinjaScripts and not the general forums to locate it (it's resting in the sharing section).

i am getting a warning when i try to import this file. it says you have custom ninjascript files on your pc that have programing errors. these errors must be resolved before you can import a ninjascript archive file.
what is the problem?

i am wondering if anyone else has been able to get this indicator to work with ib data. ib has a data feed for ADD that is required for this indicator..
i have spent several hours playing with it but no luck getting it to work.

Check log tab of control center for any errors messages when you have this script applied. It will let you know if you're not enabled for ^Add. It doesn't look like IB supplies historical intraday data for ^Add, but real time and daily history are working with the default settings.

For intraday history you could consider a subscription to Kinetick.

i have no errors. it must be the data feed. everything loads into the chart like it should work but no data.

Do you have it applied to a daily chart? No intraday history is available for ^Add and the IB connection.

Has anyone get this indicator to work? I have it loaded on my chart but all I see is red. I do have ADD. Please help me get this to work. Thank you
