Strategy Builder Issue # 12083 - Still not working

Dear Support,

can you please check issue # 12083, it was fixed in 8.0.11.0.

I use 8.011.1 but it doesn't work.
(can't edit inputs or vars without removing from conditions sets first)

Thank you for reporting this behavior.

All of the input settings except for the name should be changeable.

I tested and found I am also unable to change input values.

I have reported to our development. Once I have further information I will update this post.

Our development has let me know that inputs that are in use should not be editable.

The language of this correction was changed to "In some scenarios Inputs and Variables that were in use could be edited which resulted in an error".

I've submitted a feature request on your behalf to for the NinjaTrader Development to consider allowing inputs that are in use to be editable.

Once I have a tracking ID for this request I will forward this to you for future reference.

it's a while ago but a short note from me.

In some early NT 8 versions (after the beta) I could edit used Inputs/Variables. This possiblity was nice to have, especially a Input/Variable was used in many Conditions/Actions. Now it's laborious if I have/want to change something (like description, name and so on), the Input/Variable must then be removed from all sets first.

I just wanted to remark, that it worked sooner but not anymore, which means the "feature" was already there.
Maybe you can add this information for the devs.
