Saving workspace

Hello, in trying to save a workspace ....
i get the following message in the log

Default ... Could not save indicator : Object reference not set to an instance of an object


Is there any reason why the message cannot refer to the indicator in question rather than a vague message? Any clues on nature of this message

Thank you for your post.

The message is vague and there is no means to have it advise exactly what indicator or object. Can you post the full message from the Log tab as you see it?

Hello, that is the full message ... i was trying to copy it from the console tab .. but couldnt see how .. other than taking image of it ... but that is the text ... the Default part refers to the Category header ....
since closing and reloading .. the message appears to have cleared .... and tried to save again and message didnt appear ... this is 1 of other queries i have on random messages which are misleading on another thread i am working towards a reply on - it was just this was an isolated instance in trying to test and i wondered if there were any clues on this....

Thank you for your response.

Generally it indicates a NinjaScript file is trying to call an object that is null. Printing out any variables, Series types and their values, as well as any other objects called can help to decipher the cause.
