Any headway been made on this problem in NT8?

I upgraded to a 4K monitor over the weekend which allows me to run Windows 10 with 150-200% scaling for some amazing clarity in the fonts and rendering....except NT8. The scaling algorithm when applied to NT8 leaves charts and fonts fuzzy at various levels of scaling. This isn’t a Windows 10 issue as other apps look truly amazing using all the 4K pixels to effectively show a 2560x1440 display. The only way to get clear charts is to use no scaling at all which makes things exceptionally small. Why doesn’t NT8 scale properly? Wasn’t one of the main purposes behind NT8 to use the newer Windows architecture that supports UI scaling?

Well, I messed around with all kinds of settings and DPI scaling and video card drivers and now NT8 is razor sharp at 150% scaling which is the best for this 27" 4K display. I wish I could remember exactly what I did. All is good though.

Working in a chart and then opening and closing a popup (like properties, or indicators) causes the chart to lose focus.
For example: Open a chart. Use some keys, like PgUp, PgDn or arrows. Right click to go to properties. OK in properties, chart is not back in focus, it does not become active again. Cannot use the keys, and even the title bar shows it as inactive. Have to click into the chart area (where the bars are) to activate the window and be able to use keys again.
It's still the case in Jan 2018
            - for templates too

              Hello sezor,

              Thank you for your post.

Can you please send me your log and trace files so I may investigate this matter further?

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

The problem seems to me to be connected more to design than
to simple functioning. When one closes an indicator
properties window or loads or saves a template, Ninja 8.0.11.1
doesn't return the focus to the chart - one has to click in
                the chart first.

                  Hello sezor,

                  Thank you for your patience.

The focus is either mouse based or keyboard based. If you use a key combination (hot key) on the keyboard to open a menu and close it the keyboard retains focus. If you open and close a menu using the mouse then the mouse retains focus.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
