    Time[0] problem

    Good day. Please help to solve the problem. I need to save one time value in the array-Time[ ]. I did so
    if ( ......)
    var b = Time[1];
    var myArr = new var [1];
    for (int i = 0; i < 1; i++)
    {
    myArr[i] = b;
    }

    The compiler generates CS0246
    Do I understand correctly that there is some problem with "var"???

    Hello Papercut110,

    Thank you for the post.

    You would need to define a type when you declare a new object instead of using var. a DateTime array could be used. You can find information about how to declare arrays on MSDN: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot...nsional-arrays

    You could write that as:

    Code:
    DateTime[] myTimes = new DateTime[1];
    If you are only trying to save one time, you may have an easier time just using that one DateTime object without the array as well.

    Code:
    DateTime myTime = Time[1];
    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
