Chart is blank,....

Just downloaded Ninjatrader 7...and checking out the chart.
Right after opening it, and clicking on a new chart....there is nothing...
It is a complete blank and no data at all on the chart....
How do i fix this?

Hello MrGrape,

The likely reason that you do not see historical data on your chart is that the connection you are using does not provide historical data. NinjaTrader itself is not a market data vendor and thus requires either historical or real-time data to drive it. Chart bars will however be built as time passes so if you left NinjaTrader running with an open chart for 60 minutes you would have a 1 minute chart with an hour of historical data on it.

ehhhh wth??
So if I want to use the chart for the past 3 months....there is no way I can access using ninjatrader?? Only if I leave it opened for the next 3 months can I look back?

Do you know when you guys are having the next webinar for newbs?
I was recently watching a webinar and saw the presenter using the chart on ninjatrader and thats when I wanted to redownload it after seeing the candlestick identifier.
