Passing info from one chart to another chart.
I would like to read some variables from an indicator running on a 500 Tick Chart and use that in code running on a 1500 Tick Chart. Is this possible? And if so, could you point me in the right direction because I have no idea what these tools would be called. Also, do you have any example code to share?
Thanks.Tags: None

Hello BR1Z1Z,
Thank you for your note.
What you could do is make calculates for both data series within the same script.
To do this you would add a secondary data series to your script. See AddDataSeries section of our helpguide.
You could also see a sample strategy which demonstrates how you can pass a data series to an indicator and save that value to a variable, for both the primary and secondary series, in your case this would be the 500 and 1500 tick series’. To view this sample, go to Control Center>New>NinjaScript Editor and under the strategies folder select SampleMultiTimeFrame. (See Screen Shot)
Please let us know if you need further assistance.Alan P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
