    Save Tab parameters with workspace

I have multiple tabs for executions, positions, etc. and filter each one by trading account.
When I save my workspace and reopen it the tabs go back to "All".

Please save/restore the filter and adjustment parameters for each tab.

    This is with NT 8.

I can reproduce this behavior on my end. I have forwarded this to the Development Team for review. The internal tracking ID is QA-3999. I'll follow up when there is more information, however, I suspect this fix will make it into an upcoming release. Monitor the release notes when a new version is available to see if this is fixed:

        Hello EnsoTrader,

        Thanks for your patience.

Please clarify - were these tabs previously retaining the filter settings through a save? Or has this never behaved as you desire and you're just asking for it to behave that way instead of resetting after a restart?

This has never worked. It always starts with ALL when I launch NT regardless of the prior state.

If I can expand my wishes
It'd be nice to at least be able to have 'initial position date' as a column and/or filter too.
I'd like to be able to just look at what I'm trading today without having to search through my long term positions. (executions/positions)

Thanks for the clarification. I misunderstood your initial inquiry to imply that this was working before but did not work currently.

The filters are not expected to persist currently, however, I have submitted a feature request to the Development Team. The tracking number is SFT-1257.

What would the 'initial position date' track exactly? Your first entry in an instrument during the current session? During the current calendar date? Other?

              Thanks Patrick.

For initial entry date, I was thinking the date/time the position was established (which is also beneficial for the long term positions as well) for the column.

If the filter would then let me include only things for today....or last x trading days (1, 2,3, 5 maybe), that way I can see where I am on the day, or the last two days if I carried something overnight.

I see. So you would like the information from the entry order's fill time to be available as a column within the Positions tab?
